Cookies & storage we use
Essential (always on)
These keep the site working and remember your choices. Age check — a small flag stored in your browser remembers that you confirmed you are 21+. Preferences — cookies that remember if you hid the intro message (fl_hero), dismissed a notice (fl_cta), or made a cookie choice (fl_consent). These last up to one year and carry no advertising data.
Analytics (optional — only with your consent)
If you select Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies (such as _ga) to measure page views and overall traffic so we can improve the site. If you select Decline, these are never set and Google Analytics is not loaded.
Anonymous usage counts (no cookie)
To rank the most useful coupons, we keep simple aggregate counts of how often a code is copied or a vendor link is clicked. These counts are anonymous, set no cookie, and hold no personal information — they only tell us, for example, that a vendor’s code was copied 40 times. We use them to order the best codes and popular brands by what readers actually use instead of guesswork.
Your choices
You can choose Decline at any time to keep analytics off, clear cookies through your browser settings, or use Google’s official opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Clearing your cookies will also reset the age check and bring back the intro and the cookie banner.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to vendors are affiliate or referral links, which means Franklist may earn a commission if you buy — at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay or which codes we list.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t run third-party advertising trackers. Coupon submissions and reports you send are used only to keep the list accurate.
